This workshop introduces participants to basic tools every classroom educator will need to know and use. This workshop focuses on Google Classroom.
All modules are self-paced learning experiences so participants can enter at any time, progress at whatever pace is most comfortable, and complete the module when they are ready.
Note: Your district must be signed up for the G Suite For Education in order for students to be able to use this program.
Audience: All Pre-K-12 Educators

What Is It?
Google Classroom is a streamlined, easy-to-use tool that helps teachers manage coursework. Google Classroom integrates with G Suite (For example, Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.). With Google Classroom, educators can create classes, distribute assignments, grade and send feedback, and see everything in one place.
Google worked with educators across the country to create this SAFE, easy-to-use tool. It helps students and teachers organize assignments, boost collaboration, and foster better communication.
Training Includes
Creating a class; Having students join; Creating & posting assignments; Organizing topics; Adding links, video, teacher-created materials, and class announcements; Grading (or not); Returning assignments to students
Requirement for PDPs
A written personal reflection describing implementation, application, and future utilization.
