Overview
Effective critical thinking enables effective problem-solving and creativity and supports rational decision-making.
Through expert talks, faculty demonstrations, and practical resources, instructors will learn strategies to help students question assumptions, consider multiple viewpoints, and draw well-reasoned conclusions. This course will help faculty empower students to use these skills to avoid overly simplistic explanations of complex issues, gain the ability to examine differing perspectives and devise creative solutions to problems they encounter.
