Course Details

This essential training will help educators understand the complex psychological, physical and emotional effects of bullying and harassment on individuals. It is ideal for anyone who works in education, including teachers, teaching assistants, pastoral support and/or youth workers, SENCOs and residential childcare staff.

A key course objective is to ensure educators develop a more detailed understanding of bullying and harassment, including how to recognise it, how to step in, and how to stop it, with emphasis on prevention.

As the course progresses, participants will learn about their legal responsibilities to protect children and young people from the effects of bullying and harassment and about the current requirements of UK law.
