Julie Miller has been a teacher for over 25 years. In 2013, she began a deep dive into the impact of executive functioning on learners, marking the start of her journey as a time management educator. Today, she works with individual adults, students, and families, and offers engaging presentations on the brain and executive function. Julie is passionate about sharing tools and insights that help people navigate challenges with greater confidence. She brings warmth, curiosity, and clarity to her work, helping clients build strategies that foster independence, resilience, and lasting change.

2. Marydee Sklar
Founder, Time Management Educator
Marydee Sklar is a time management educator who has spent over 25 years teaching students and adults time management, planning and organization from the perspective of the brain. She is the creator of the Seeing My Time® curriculum, the Set Up Success™ student planners and author of the popular book for parents: 50 Tips to Help Students Succeed.

Executive Functioning Success created this course to help teachers support and develop their students' executive function skills. You’ll explore relevant research on brain development, learn practical strategies for the K–12 classroom, and gain access to visual models, hands-on activities, and downloadable tools.

This course is virtual and self-paced, allowing you to move through the material on your own schedule. Two in-person Zoom Q&A sessions are included.


Course Details

• Pre-recorded videos, designed to accommodate teachers' busy schedules.
• Once the first ten weeks have been completed, everyone will have access to course content for one year from the start date.
• Course content includes video recordings by Marydee Sklar and interactive communication with Julie Miller and your peers.
