Course Description

This course is designed for current and future school leaders who desire to develop skills and understanding of school leadership. through research-based principles and thought. The course contains two modules.

Modules

Module 1: A Community of Collaboration
This module explores how school leaders who trusting in themselves and in their community impact their role as leaders. It provides a deep dive into the benefits of collegiality and collaboration to require teacher growth and development.

Module 2: Culture of Improvement
This module instructs school leaders how to develop and maintain a process to become a culture of improvement within their schools. Learners have access to a tool to review case studies of three schools. It explores how a school develops a self-review, a shared vision, and a plan of action.

• Why is there no fee for this course?
Online course fees are funded by committed donors to reduce barriers to access high quality professional development for teachers and school leaders. The monetary value of this course is $600USD.

• What is your responsibility to qualify for this donated course?
Committed time and engagement

This course is designed to be completed in four consecutive weeks. Once enrolled, a learner completes the modules in sequence to earn a Certificate. The estimated time to complete lessons and recommended course work:

Weeks 1-2 – Module 1: 3-4 hours
Weeks 3-4 – Module 2: 3-4 hours

- Must have access to a device – desktop or laptop (preferred), mobile device (supported)
- All devices require speakers
- Supported web browsers - Chrome and Firefox (preferred), Safari and Edge (supported)
- One can complete a system check to ensure that your system is properly configured.

Application – In collaboration as colleagues, we ask you to pledge to apply what you have learned to your classroom instruction. TTT values underserved educators for the sake of the next generation.

• How can I earn a Certificate?
For an individual learner to earn a Certificate, one must earn a total of four badges. To earn badges, one must submit a response to every discussion topic and every self-reflective assignment. If a learner earns a Certificate, one may complete a “Course Approval” form to seek credit for professional development points or government licensures.

• Is this course available in other languages?
In 2023, this course is available in English.
In 2024, this course is available in French and Spanish.

Enrollment Policy

Limit one six-week enrollment per individual.
To increase mastery of the course, TTT requires enrolling in one course at a time.
Learners will be automatically unenrolled from the course after 14 days of inactivity.
