Over the past 12 years, Steph has taught many autistic children and young people, with a wide variety of abilities and complex needs.

In recent years, Steph has upskilled hundreds of adults including parents, teachers, SENCO’s and support assistants with practical skills and knowledge to meet autistic children’s needs and support their learning.

Steph is an Autism Specialist Teacher and Consultant, supporting schools and services to ensure high quality autism provision and practice, enabling children to achieve and maximise their outcomes.

Do you want to learn about autism? Perhaps you want to better understand an autistic individual? Maybe you’re looking for practical ways you can help and support?

Autism can be very complex to understand. Each individual is very different and has their own abilities, strengths and needs.

It can therefore, feel very overwhelming when we try to work out the best ways to support an autistic individual.

By understanding how an autistic individual may experience communication, thought processing and the sensory input around them, you will be in an informed position to identify helpful methods of support and with confidence.

Explore neurodiversity, the autism spectrum and what it means to be autistic.

2. Learn practical strategies that you can do to help.
Understand what you can do to support autistic individuals in the key areas of communication, thinking and sensory processing.
