Prerequisites

• Recommended, but not required, is our course, AI in Education
• Basic-level understanding of navigating the Internet.
• Ability to take a screenshot and paste into a Document.
• Basic-level file management (naming, placing, saving files)Fun, inspiration and collaboration are key!
Promote team building: Strengthens the bonds within the school team through interactive activities and collaborative challenges, creating a sense of togetherness and connection.
Stimulate creative thinking: Encourages the team to think outside the box and generate new, innovative ideas for the project, anniversary or end-of-year party, with the aim of exploring and developing a range of creative concepts.

2. Use course text and link tables to explore, apply and evaluate four different administrative assistant AI tools.
3. Use course text and link tables to explore, apply and evaluate four different research-based AI tools.
4. Use course text and link tables to explore, apply and evaluate four different creative-based AI tools.
5. Use course materials, AI tools tables and a current lesson plan to evaluate and update an existing lesson plan to add rigor using at least 3 AI tools previously explored.
6. Use course materials and experiences to complete a self-assessment on what they learned from this course.75 minutes.

Course Summary

We’re seeing yet another new technology boom with a huge potential to change how we teach. Artificial intelligence (AI) is in our schools. We’re all hearing the buzz and seeing some exciting examples, but for many the real hurdle is just finding the time to truly learn how to use AI tools for teachers effectively in our own classrooms.

The Teacher’s Academy spent months digging into the latest tools, talking to educators, and just playing around with AI.
