OLC Innovate, a joint conference presented by OLC and MERLOT, provides a path for innovators of all experience levels and backgrounds to share best practices, test new ideas, and collaborate on driving forward online, digital, and blended learning.

Join OLC virtually March 3-5, 2026 as we challenge our teaching and learning paradigms, reimagine the learning experience, and ideate on how disruptions in education today will shape the innovative classroom of tomorrow.

Conference Program

- Multiple Pathways to Learn
The Online Learning Consortium (OLC) is committed to fostering collaborative spaces where educators and learning and development professionals across K-12, higher education, and workforce learning can share their experiences and work together to enhance learning communities and environments.

- Unique Session Formats
Expect to be actively involved in sessions at OLC Innovate. From design sprints and express sessions to deep dive workshops and featured sessions with subject matter experts in digital learning, presentations will encourage deep thinking and engagement around relevant topics.

Present at OLC Innovate 2026
The Call for Proposals has been extended through October 14, 2025. We invite you to share your innovative ideas with your global network of colleagues, your community, and those who inspire and seek inspiration.

Please note, all proposals for Innovate 2026 are for virtual sessions. There will be no onsite program associated with the conference.

Important Dates:

October 14, 2025: Proposals due by 11:59pm ET (extended deadline)
December 10, 2025: Notification of acceptance (all submissions are sent notification emails, regardless of acceptance status)
January 7, 2026: Deadline for presenters to accept
January 16, 2026: Full program published (subject to change)
January 20, 2026: Deadline for presenters to register for conference/edit abstracts (speaker registration is the final commitment confirmation step; failure to register for the conference may result in removal from the program)
February 24, 2026: Deadline for presentations to be uploaded to or linked in the conference system
