The Food Waste Book

The Food Waste Book offers a comprehensive approach to reducing food waste. Through in-depth research, the team addresses all aspects of sustainable food use, from purchasing to storage, and from separating waste to composting. This book combines solutions and recipes with practical guides to food storage, composting, waste separation and sustainable grocery shopping.

Second and third place

‘Pumpkin Dippers’ from Lentiz MBO Westland and Lentiz MBO LIFE College came in second place. They developed crackers and hummus made from leftover pumpkin. ‘Beanblog’ from Terra MBO Groningen came in third place by focusing on promoting healthy and sustainable food choices among young people, with an emphasis on protein-rich beans.
