The Outdoor Lesson Bundle, which normally costs 20 euros, contains fully developed lessons and lesson ideas for working outdoors with your entire class. This is not only good for children's learning performance, but also great fun! All the lessons were created by teachers themselves and can easily be made simpler or more challenging, depending on the level of the group. With these lessons, you can teach the regular curriculum in a playful way, outdoors.
The new 2019 Outdoor Lesson Bundle includes a hardcover storage binder with 31 fully developed lessons for the entire primary school. The bundle contains lessons in mathematics, language, geography, nature and physical education.
By learning outdoors, children learn better and more effectively. Outdoors, children have plenty of space to play, exercise, discover and investigate. Jantje Beton and IVN developed and compiled these outdoor lessons together with children and teachers.
Healthy Schoolyard
According to Jantje Beton and IVN, a Healthy Schoolyard is a green, natural and challenging schoolyard for outdoor lessons, which is also suitable for playing and exercising. In the survey, they ask schools whether, based on the description above, they believe they have a ‘Healthy Schoolyard’. They then ask whether they would like to have a Healthy Schoolyard and what the main reason for this would be. Participants must also describe their current schoolyard and state what they need—in addition to money—to create a Healthy Schoolyard.
