The Het Vergeten Kind Foundation is calling on schools to take action for forgotten children this Christmas. In December, Het Vergeten Kind wants to give 7,500 children positive moments together with their family or residential group. That is why Het Vergeten Kind is organizing all kinds of activities for them during the Christmas holidays.

Examples of schools' Christmas actions

There are various examples of Christmas actions that schools can organize:

A skating marathon, in which students get sponsored for each lap they skate.
Organizing a Christmas market, where homemade crafts, cakes, Christmas snacks, etc. are sold, or an auction is held.
Organizing a Santa Run sponsored run.
A Christmas drinks gathering in the schoolyard for parents waiting while their children attend the Christmas dinner.

Action platform

Schools can create an action on the Action Platform of Het Vergeten Kind. Schools can create, complete and format the action page. On the page, schools can explain why they support Het Vergeten Kind, what actions they are going to take and upload photos. The action page is also easy to share via email, WhatsApp groups and social media channels. It is also possible to create a personalized QR code and download a QR poster.

Our Food Week
