National Tap Water Day program
On National Tap Water Day, together with the Dutch drinking water companies, we draw attention to drinking tap water in primary schools and after-school care. Children in grades 1 through 8 learn why tap water is a healthy and sustainable thirst quencher. Schools and after-school care centers that register receive free educational materials consisting of a video and a digital Tap Water Day quiz, a water worksheet, a challenge by Meester Jesper, and an experiment or creative activity. There is also a poster to put up in the classroom. Materials are available for grades 1–3, grades 4–6, and grades 7–8.
