Silver Weeks
After the Christmas holidays, you return to the classroom. How are the children doing? Is the group dynamic different now than before the holidays? Welcome back—you have arrived in the Silver Weeks. During the Golden Weeks, you laid the foundation; now you will give it some extra attention again. You will get to work with your pupils and the group dynamic.
With a positive group dynamic and a safe atmosphere, there is less bullying in the classroom. But what really helps prevent bullying? Fortunately, research is giving us an increasingly better understanding of what works. In collaboration with researchers and the Netherlands Youth Institute, School & Safety has compiled five valuable tips for teachers. These tips are scientifically substantiated and can be applied directly in the classroom. But is it really that easy? During the webinar, teachers will be asked how they put these tips into practice.
During this webinar, two scientists, three teachers and bullying adviser Marijke van der Zalm from School & Safety will sit down together to discuss the practical aspects. Teachers can listen in and watch along. They can also ask their own questions or share inspiring examples from their classroom.
