Children often understand very well that wasting food is a shame. With the free starter package about food waste, pupils will learn about the topic in a fun and engaging way during the themed week in September. The free starter package shows what they can do to help combat it. For example, the package includes a poster competition, with great prizes to be won. The starter package complements the Healthy School activity Smaaklessen and aligns with the Smaakmissie Voedselverspilling.
