Wanted: teachers (upper primary and lower secondary education) and internal support coordinators for hearing damage prevention panel

Preventing hearing damage among children and young people is an important issue and a growing problem in the Netherlands. Research shows that 1 in 7 children have suffered hearing damage as a result of loud noise. Hearing damage is irreversible and has a negative impact on (academic) performance, well-being, opportunities in the labour market, income and social participation. Preventing hearing damage is therefore of great importance, particularly at a young age. Schools can play an important role in this.

On behalf of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, VeiligheidNL would like to gain insight into the wishes and needs of schools. This will enable the development of interventions and educational packages that are in line with the present day and suit the education system.

Can you help VeiligheidNL with this?

Are you a teacher (in upper primary or lower secondary education) or an internal support coordinator? Then VeiligheidNL would be happy to speak with you! VeiligheidNL is looking for teachers (in upper primary and lower secondary education) and internal support coordinators who would like to participate in the schools panel.

What does VeiligheidNL ask of you?

VeiligheidNL will organise a total of two working sessions (lasting a maximum of 1.5 hours each). The first working session will take place on 4 November and the second in early December. The working sessions will take place online.

The first working session will take place on Wednesday 4 November from 15:30 to 17:00.

Compensation

For your participation, you will receive a gift voucher worth €40 per working session. VeiligheidNL asks you to participate in both working sessions.
