VeiligheidNL is the leading knowledge centre for injury prevention. Everything VeiligheidNL does is aimed at reducing the number of injuries and preventing them wherever possible. This also applies to children. Every day, more than 500 children end up in the emergency department with injuries. Yet these injuries can often be prevented by protecting and empowering children. As a childcare professional, you also contribute to this. VeiligheidNL would like to know how child safety is part of your work, and whether, and if so how, you experience the services provided by VeiligheidNL. VeiligheidNL would also like to know what your wishes and needs are in the area of child safety. That is why VeiligheidNL is calling on you to make your voice heard and take part in the study. Participation is completely anonymous and takes only 15 minutes of your time.

Questions that will be addressed include:

  • For you, is child safety more about ‘protecting children’ or ‘empowering children’?
  • How important is child safety in your daily work? And within the organisation where you work?
  • What are the biggest challenges you experience in your work in the area of child safety?
