Collaboration
The downloadable guide from Stichting Zorgeloos naar School contains practical tips for organising support at school as effectively as possible. The guide is suitable for students with various physical conditions and was compiled in collaboration with students, parents, schools and education professionals.
Mainstream education
The guiding principle is that these students should be able to follow mainstream education without problems. Small adjustments in the classroom make this easier for everyone involved. For example, a student pass provides an immediate overview of the support that applies to the student.
Diabetes
On average, every mainstream class has three students with a chronic condition. Common conditions among children and young people include chronic headaches, asthma and gastrointestinal problems. Stichting Zorgeloos naar School is the successor to Stichting Zorgeloos met Diabetes naar School. The success of supporting students with diabetes led to this broader initiative.
