The decision came shortly after the decision by the Danish government to close childcare facilities, schools and universities for at least two weeks. The decision to take this step now was prompted by a number of factors:
- The rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the coronavirus and the increasingly stringent guidelines that accompany them, both in the Netherlands and in Denmark.
- The fact that we want to present a strong programme. In light of current developments, this is also under pressure. Even if the organisations to be visited in Denmark do reopen their doors in two weeks, they will naturally face a number of other challenges. We expect that some of these organisations will be unable to honour the agreements made with us.
- Within your own organisations, internal guidelines may also be issued in the coming period regarding participation in larger gatherings and (study) trips.
The organisers have therefore chosen clarity over uncertainty. They hope to be able to provide the participants with further information about the new date and the postponement of their registration within two to three weeks. To make sure that this message has reached them, they ask participants to respond briefly by email.
