An important part of a healthy lifestyle is sport and exercise. Children naturally have a lot of energy, so motivating them to play sports should not be difficult. Yet this regularly proves to be the case for parents, schools, or sports clubs. Sports and games are carried out in the same way they were decades ago. Logically, that no longer fits within the world of today’s children, full of (virtual) action. Sportivun tries to think innovatively in this regard, for example by playing live Fortnite or transforming the gymnasium into the Olympic Winter Games. Moreover, a positive sporting experience at a young age increases the likelihood that someone will continue to play sports and exercise later in life. So motivating children to play sports also has a long-term effect.
So how do we ensure that all children in the Netherlands start playing sports? Sportivun is best known for its various sports camps, such as football camps, tennis camps, and multi-sport day camps. Children work with certified trainers on their technique and tactics, so that they can become even better at the sport they already practice or discover all kinds of new sports. In addition, Sportivun organizes sports-themed camps, such as the Bobo Holiday Days for preschoolers and the PANNA! Football Experience for football enthusiasts, as well as other sporting activities, such as children’s parties, clinics, and sports days. Sportivun is characterized by a professional, enthusiastic approach and innovative ideas and activities, partly inspired by fruitful collaborations with, for example, De Spelles, PANNA!, Bobo, and a large number of sports clubs. And all of this with one goal: we want to get all children in the Netherlands playing sports!
