What will you do?
You will be part of the ‘Vita On Tour Football Battle’ team, which will visit 60–80 special education schools between February and May 2021 with Special Heroes mascot Vita, an inflatable football goal and a start/finish arch. The football arena will be set up in the school playground (gymnasium), and five pupils will represent their school in an ‘on tour’ competition by scoring as many points as possible by shooting at the football goal. At each school, the team will create a fun vlog of the school and the battle. This vlog/video will be edited by a team member and shared via Special Heroes’ social media channels. Through the video on social media, each school will be challenged to beat the highest score or finish as high as possible in the online rankings, which are shown at the end of each vlog/video.
As a member of the ‘Vita On Tour Football Battle’, it will be your responsibility, in cooperation with the Events project manager, regional project managers and the communications team at Special Heroes Netherlands, to shape the event at the school. You will ensure that the ‘Vita On Tour Football Battle’ becomes an awesome event for the children and young people in the school playground and goes viral on social media. This also means that you are encouraged to take a critical look at the current format/content. You are not afraid to speak your mind and always look for where and how we can improve our concept/content. With your creative sporting approach, you will take our event to the next level.
