The aim of Special Heroes Campus, which was launched in March 2019, is to support sports professionals in their daily practice, enabling them to create a valuable sports and physical activity setting for the target group in which the enjoyment of physical activity and the discovery of talents can take centre stage. Another aim of this site is to make information about the target group and practical activities available in one place. This is why the Campus is an initiative of Special Heroes Netherlands and was developed in collaboration with the Knowledge Centre for Sport, NOC*NSF/Grenzeloos Actief, various sports federations, Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen and Bewegen Samen Regelen.
The information portal can be sorted in two different ways: by Target Group Characteristics and by Practical Activities.
Target Group Characteristics include:
- News
- Fact sheet
- Training course
- Textbook
- Video
Practical Activities include:
- Athletics
- Football
- Basketball
- Judo
- Hockey
- Tennis
- Volleyball
- Gymnastics
