The S(B)O jury was impressed by Piramide’s highly thorough approach to its overall range of physical activities. There is a suitable programme for every pupil. Where necessary, the school works with rehabilitation services, and its extracurricular sports programme is impressive.
The prize was offered by Menzis. In addition, Transvision b.v. is providing transport to this outing. Bosan, Nijha and Janssen-Fritsen also presented the winner with a €500,- voucher. Each of the other two nominated schools received a €1250,- voucher, also provided by the aforementioned equipment companies.

Most Sporty Primary School
On the same day, the competition for the ‘Most Sporty Primary School in the Netherlands’ was held. The honour of promoting itself under this title went to Kardinaal de Jong from Alkmaar. Five primary schools from across the country were nominated for the final of the competition in The Hague. The jury decided that this school was the winner. The school won a voucher worth €3000,-. Each of the other four nominated schools received a €1250,- voucher. The vouchers were provided by Bosan, Janssen-Fritsen and Nijha.
According to the jury for regular primary education, Kardinaal de Jong was the deserving winner because it is the connecting factor within the community of parents, neighbourhood organisations and sports, and ensures that all children engage in more and better physical activity and sports. In a very short time, the school has experienced tremendous growth in its overall range of physical activities.
