To facilitate this, we have developed an online platform where primary schools and sports organisations can easily get in touch with each other and where supply and demand come together. Both parties can use the platform to create a Royal Match.

As a school, you can indicate that you would like help from a sports provider with the sporting part of the King's Games 2022.

How does it work?

  • Register your school for the King's Games 2022.
  • Indicate on the registration form that you are interested in a Royal Match.
  • On your ‘Personal King's Games Page’, you will then see an overview of the sports providers in the area that offer a sports activity and would like to help with the sporting part of the King's Games.
  • You can now easily contact one or more of these sports providers.

What are the King's Games?

The King's Games are a sporting celebration of the Dutch royal family, in which an average of 1.2 million children from 6,000 schools in primary education in the Netherlands, the Caribbean part of the Kingdom and Dutch schools abroad take part. Traditionally, the King's Games take place on the last Friday before King's Day.
