The event organised by Een Leven Lang Bewegen voor iedereen of Fontys Sport & Bewegen is divided into two programme sections and is therefore aimed at two target groups.

Programme section I: Administrators, policymakers and policy officers working at regional and local government institutions (for example, municipalities), youth healthcare services, primary education, childcare, trade associations and (practice-based) researchers.

Programme section II: Directors, location managers and professionals from schools, childcare organisations, municipal sports companies, MBO and HBO institutions; focused on pedagogy, health, and sport and physical activity.

You can choose to participate in one or both programme sections. You can easily indicate this when registering.

13:15 Programme section I

The event will be opened by, among others, alderman Hubert Mackus of the Municipality of Maastricht. This will be followed by a presentation from Jeremy van Wissen (Maastricht Sport), who will present an administrative evaluation of the Healthy Child Centre in Motion programme. Partners will discuss progress and engage in dialogue about the collaboration, followed by a panel discussion led by the chair of the day.

14:45 Programme section II

Professor Dave Van Kann will then highlight the value of physical activity in pedagogical and school contexts. He will link this to two promising approaches: Active Foundation and A Dynamic School Day. During two Power Sessions, insights, data and practical applications will be shared — a real knowledge boost about physical activity among young children in the region.
