Krachtvoer is a free, online lesson programme about healthy nutrition. The programme is aimed at lower-year vmbo students (all educational pathways). The lesson programme helps these students to live healthily and, in particular, to make healthy food choices regarding fruit, snacking and drinking, breakfast, and sustainability. In recent years, Krachtvoer has been completely further developed and renewed by Maastricht University in collaboration with Yuverta. The nutritional guidelines, teaching methods, and look and feel of the lesson programme have been updated to current standards together with Yuverta students and teachers.

The further developed lesson programme was re-recognised as an effective intervention at the end of 2021. This means that Krachtvoer meets the criteria for successfully and effectively promoting a healthy lifestyle and that the programme can be found in the intervention database of the CGL (Centre for Healthy Living) information desk of the RIVM.

Healthy School recommends Krachtvoer as an activity for obtaining the Healthy School Nutrition certificate. The recognised lesson programme can, for example, be used to start, intensify, or broaden the Healthy School approach.
