Safe Traffic Netherlands and its partner Athlon Netherlands are therefore calling on schools to urge parents to practise the school route during the summer holidays and thus help prevent traffic casualties. In addition to traffic education at school, parents also have an important role to play in their children’s ‘traffic education’. Good cooperation contributes to children gaining traffic experience and developing an understanding of traffic.

- Read aloud from the reading and activity book ‘Sproet en de Straathaaien’
