With the incentive scheme, a school receives a sum of money as well as advice and support from a Healthy School adviser. The money can, for example, be used for the working hours of a Healthy School coordinator, for the provision or purchase of an activity, or as a contribution towards the costs of participating in the postgraduate programme Specialist in Sportive and Healthy Schools.

Four incentive schemes

This round concerns four incentive schemes:

Healthy School Support Offer 2024

Would you like to make a healthy lifestyle an integral part of your school? Apply for the Healthy School Support Offer via Mijngezondeschool.nl. With the help of the support offer and the Healthy School approach, your school can get off to a flying start with a health theme or take it a step further!

Healthy Relationships & Sexuality Incentive Scheme

Paying attention to relationships and sexuality is important from an early age, both at home and at school. This gives children and young people timely information about topics such as healthy relationships, enjoyable and safe sex, and transgressive behaviour. They also feel confident asking questions about sexual and gender diversity, sexting, wishes and boundaries. This contributes to positive and healthy sexual development. The Healthy Relationships & Sexuality Incentive Scheme aims to encourage and support schools that wish to focus on the theme of Relationships and sexuality.

Healthy and Safe Working Incentive Scheme

An incentive scheme specifically for secondary vocational education. Students are the workers of the future. And in the future labour market, sustainable employability is central. How do you prepare your students for this? By making them aware of the importance of vital employment and their own sustainable employability. Secondary vocational education has an important role to play in this, together with the professional field. The ultimate goal is a lifetime of healthy and safe participation in the workforce for future professionals!

Enjoy the Outdoors! Incentive Grant

Would you like to have pupils or students garden, cook or go on excursions to learn about food? This is possible with the Enjoy the Outdoors! incentive grant from the Young Learning to Eat programme. Young Learning to Eat aims to encourage schools to teach pupils and students all about food. Schools can apply for an annual incentive grant of up to €2,000 per location for this purpose.
