The Healthy Primary School of the Future started in Limburg in 2015. By now, an increasing number of schools and municipalities in the Netherlands are getting to work with it. Research by Maastricht University shows that the concept works: it has a positive effect not only on the physical development of pupils, but also on their mental development. In addition, it has been shown that the atmosphere at school also improves. This gives every child the opportunity to grow up healthy. The ambition is to reach even more schools and municipalities. From now on, this will be much easier thanks to the launch of a new online platform.
