What does it involve?
A school can participate with one or more classes from years 1 through 4. If your school registers for the study, an information letter will be sent to the students' parents, after which they will decide whether their child will participate in the research. Participating students receive a link to the online questionnaire from their teacher and complete the questionnaire at school with the entire class at the same time. Students spend a maximum of 30 minutes on the questionnaire per measurement. Two measurements will be conducted: a baseline measurement—before the summer holidays—and a measurement after six months.
What are the benefits?
After each measurement, you will receive a fact sheet with the most important results for your school compared with other schools. This gives you insight into students' use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs, as well as any delinquent behavior and problematic use of social media and gaming. A total of 90 prizes worth 30 euros will be raffled among all students participating in the RADAR study.
