A New Format: The Olympic Moves Sports Festival
This year, the heart of Olympic Moves was the new Sports Festival at Papendal, featuring a TeamNL Sport Experience, music, street dance, food trucks and a photo booth. This sports festival offered an opportunity to meet one another, relax and, above all, discover new sports. BMX, climbing on the climbing wall, lacrosse, chess, SIM racing and many more sports took center stage thanks in part to the TeamNL Sport Experience. Various sports federations were present to promote their sports and enthuse the students.
A Wide Variety of Sports
The students competed in nineteen different sports. They were divided into various categories. The sports were: athletics, athletics-cross-country, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, dodgeball, floorball, futsal, handball, hockey, korfball, mini-trampoline, softball, street dance, tennis, ultimate frisbee, soccer, volleyball and swimrun.
