Mental and physical health important to schools

The incentive schemes provide schools with an additional boost to work systematically and sustainably on a healthy lifestyle. Iris Kummeling, programme manager at Gezonde School, is particularly pleased with the huge level of interest: “More schools have registered for each scheme than ever before. This shows that working together on the mental and physical health of pupils and students is important to many schools. It also shows that they are keen to receive expert advice, guidance and practical tools from our programme. Together, we can make a healthy lifestyle at schools truly the norm.”

Allocation of the incentive schemes

The number of applications per scheme shows that schools are motivated to work on a healthy lifestyle for pupils and students: for each scheme, there are more applications than available funding. Allocation criteria will therefore be applied for each scheme. All schools that applied for an incentive scheme will be informed in May whether they have been allocated one or more schemes. Education professionals can view the schedule for each scheme.
