What challenges does a child with a motor skill delay and their environment face? What does science tell us about the issues affecting children with motor skill delays? And what can we do in practice to get these children moving and keep them active? Led by Johan Koedijker (Knowledge Centre for Sport & Exercise) and Remo Mombarg (Professor of Physical Education and Youth Sports at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen), we will discuss this with a number of experts by experience and professionals from the field. Remo Mombarg will then bring us up to date on the latest scientific insights. Franceline van der Geer (programme coordinator at Special Heroes) will conclude with practical tips and tools to get started ourselves.

About the speakers
