The theme ‘Everyone having fun’ can be seen in all the materials. The King's Games Package gives the King's Games a playful, royal look with imaginative games such as:
- Palace on stilts.
- The Green Draeck on the waves.
- Amalia goes to the ball.
- Crown throwing.
All games are clearly presented on separate game cards, each at two levels, with clear information about the materials required. For older primary school pupils, there are separate sports cards with sports and tournament formats that match their interests and experiences.

Attention to special target groups
When compiling the King's Games Package, careful consideration is given to differences between pupils. The games are designed so that there is a suitable offering for every group. In addition, there is a special package with adapted game cards, so that children who, for example, use a wheelchair can also actively participate.
History
Initiator Geke Versprille, a former physical education teacher, talks about the origins of the King's Games Package:
“The King's Games show how important and enjoyable physical activity is. This ties in perfectly with my conviction that enjoying physical activity is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. In 2013, Linda Thuijs and I responded to the call to support schools with their sports day. We developed an event plan, devised games and created additional materials. It turned out to meet a huge need.”
