Do you organise an activity in secondary education, senior secondary vocational education, special education or practical education in which young people learn about healthy eating, such as a school garden, cooking class or another educational project? Or do you work in another way on food education and food skills for young people and students? Then you can submit an application for the Food Education 2026 subsidy.
- The total subsidy budget is €275,000.
- A maximum of €20,000 can be applied for per application.
- The application period runs from 2 April to 12 May.

Assessment
The province of South Holland will assess the following aspects:
- Connection with practice and a focus on experiencing and applying food skills.
- The (structural) reach.
- The socioeconomic status of the neighbourhood.
- Connection with a school garden, attention to food waste or cooperation with local food producers.
