The teaching package is intended for pupils aged 9 to 13 and was developed by designers and educational experts from TU Delft, in collaboration with physical activity professionals from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

The activities can be carried out independently by the pupils, and the videos explain the methods for creative design step by step. Pupils discover how they can be physically active at home and come up with and test a game in which aiming, balancing, moving to music and other movements are practised. Send your pupils the video with an invitation from Daniël, a PE teacher and researcher at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and let them download the YourTurn@Home step-by-step plan free of charge.

By designing a PE game themselves, pupils practise their creative, empathetic and communication skills. In addition, they consciously reflect on the importance of physical activity. The teaching package is part of TU Delft's new series of design lessons, ‘Your Turn – get started as real designers’. The methods were developed with various schools and have now been converted into a new teaching package for home education.
