The time for Cooking in the Classroom - an initiative of Smaaklessen - will be determined in consultation with the school, as will the location. Cooking in the Classroom consists of two parts: a preparatory lesson by the teacher – an activity lasting approximately 20 minutes – and the actual cooking lesson given by a chef. The cooking lesson lasts approximately 1.5 hours and is intended for a group 6, 7 or 8 class. Only cold cooking is involved.

The lesson materials and accompanying manual will be sent, and the groceries for the lesson will be provided. Any travel expenses will be at your own expense.

Registration for Cooking in the Classroom takes place in pairs consisting of a chef and a school.
