To continue to give lasting attention to this issue, the conference ‘Just now?!’ will take place on Monday, 23 September, at the Beatrix Building in Utrecht. The organisations Fiom, Rutgers, Siriz, GGD GHOR Nederland, Gezonde School, PO Raad, VO Raad, MBO Raad and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport are closely involved in organising the conference and are making a substantial contribution to the programme.
The conference is intended for everyone in healthcare, education and the social domain who is involved in supporting and guiding young people and vulnerable groups. It is for everyone who wants to contribute to the prevention of and support for unintended pregnancies.
This includes teachers in primary, secondary, special and vocational education. But also health promotion professionals, nurses, GPs, medical assistants, practice assistants, youth care workers, social workers and youth workers.
In more than 40 workshops, you will receive information about the issues involved, learn to recognise risks, start conversations about sexuality and contraception, find out what young people themselves are experiencing, meet collaboration partners, learn which interventions and tools are available and what works in practice. You will gain practical knowledge that you can put to use immediately. You can take part in at least 3 interactive workshops, exchange experiences with colleagues, sample (guest) lessons and browse an information market. The conference chair is Ruben Maes. It is also possible to talk with Paul Blokhuis, State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport.
Admission is free. You can register here.
