Making a delicious sandwich spread, growing vegetables in your own vegetable garden, or visiting a farm. Would you like to work with the children at your childcare centre or out-of-school care on the subject of healthy and sustainable food?

Childcare professionals who have been trained as Healthy Childcare coaches through the Een Gezonde Start train-the-trainer course can apply for a grant of up to €500. This grant scheme runs until 2020 and can be used by coaches for a nutrition-related activity with the children. Think of supplies for a vegetable garden, assistance with a cooking lesson, or transport to a (children’s) farm. Curious about everything you can do? Go to www.eengezondestart.nl/subsidie and apply for the grant!

Would you like to qualify for a grant but are you not yet a Healthy Childcare coach? New Een Gezonde Start train-the-trainer courses will start again in 2019. In the train-the-trainer course, you will learn to work according to the Healthy Childcare approach, practise training and communication skills, and actively acquire knowledge about lifestyle. For more information, visit www.eengezondestart.nl and register!
