Why participate?
Some schools have had to deal with difficult situations involving students who were carrying prohibited substances or weapons. In such a situation, you need to know exactly what to do. Despite protocols and a safety plan, issues such as fear can arise. How do you handle this carefully, and what considerations do you take into account? Should you report it to the police or not? The safety of the school and the class comes first. But how safe is the student in question when they leave the school again?
Stichting School & Veiligheid wants to collect experiences and stories to gain a better understanding of the legal and educational dilemmas you may encounter. With these insights, we want to help schools with practical support.
