BBB and GroenLinks/PvdA

BBB considers it important that all children in primary school receive regular lessons on healthy and sustainable food. GroenLinks/PvdA want only healthy and responsibly produced food to be available in all schools in the Netherlands.

Other parties

D66 does not specifically address schools. However, the party does want to make agreements with supermarkets to ensure that healthy products are on sale more often. The SP wants a different food system and to support farmers who produce in an animal-friendly and sustainable way. The Party for the Animals wants advertising to be limited to healthy food and also wants to abolish VAT on fruit and vegetables.

According to the VVD, lowering the prices of products such as fruit and vegetables is not a solution for encouraging people to eat more healthily. Finally, Forum for Democracy wants sufficient room to remain for individuals to make their own choices about how they shape their lifestyle.

The remaining parties did not respond to the Netherlands Nutrition Centre's question or did not want to cooperate.
