Awarding of the Healthy School Incentive Scheme 2025–2026 to 140 additional schools

Schools that receive the incentive will receive advice and guidance from a Healthy School adviser and can participate in training sessions, webinars and e-learning courses from Healthy School and its knowledge partners. New schools will also receive €1,200, which can be used to engage a Healthy School coordinator, organise Healthy School activities or take the training course to become a Specialist in Active and Healthy Schools.

What does a Specialist in Active and Healthy Schools do?

• A specialist keeps a healthy lifestyle high on the agenda.
• A specialist brings knowledge about a healthy lifestyle into the school.
• A specialist knows how to change the lifestyle of pupils or students.
• A specialist coordinates activities and is a point of contact for colleagues.
