Healthy Childcare coaches can apply for a subsidy of up to 500 euros from 9 October 2019. This subsidy scheme runs until 2020 and can be used for a food-related activity with the children. This allows you to organise activities that fit your integrated approach to food within Healthy Childcare. Think of supplies for a vegetable garden, assistance with a cooking lesson, or transport to a children’s farm or regular farm. A coach can participate once during the term of the subsidy scheme.

Not yet a trained coach?
Would you like to qualify for the subsidy but are not yet a Healthy Childcare coach? New train-the-trainer courses for Een Gezonde Start will start again in 2020. In this two-day course, you will learn to work according to the Healthy Childcare approach, practise training and communication skills, and actively acquire knowledge about a healthy lifestyle.
