Why participate?

As a teacher, you want to create a safe and familiar learning environment in which every student feels seen, heard and valued. After all, a safe environment is crucial for students to be able to learn, but also for the physical and mental well-being of the entire group—and for you as a teacher. Teachers play a major role in creating a pleasant group and a safe classroom where there is a place for everyone; bullying has no place there. Anti-Bullying Week helps teachers make a good start in creating a positive and safe classroom climate. Good conversations and clear agreements help with this. And that is exactly what Anti-Bullying Week provides tools for—at the beginning of the school year, so that you can establish a solid foundation together with your class for the rest of the year.

How to participate: three steps

1 Put up the free poster

Order or download the poster and show that you are participating. Last year, more than 20,000 posters were ordered! Below, choose which poster you need. There are three versions: posters for primary education, secondary education and vocational education.

2 Choose your free teaching materials

Use the teaching materials to focus on Anti-Bullying Week with your class. The partners of School & Safety have created all kinds of ready-to-use lessons! You can also view the teaching materials from previous years.
