Specialist Spotlight: Tracking Progress and Achievement for learners with SEND

This session is designed to support teachers and leaders in developing a clearer understanding of how to assess, track and understand the achievement and progress of pupils working below age-related expectations. The session will explore the challenges of measuring progress and achievement outside of traditional national curriculum frameworks and offer realistic, school-friendly approaches to capturing small steps of learning. Participants will consider how to use assessment, baseline information and meaningful milestones to build a more accurate picture of progress and achievement over time.
