Lesson Idea | Happy Hearts
The "Happy Hearts" art lesson is a two-day creative activity designed for Kindergarten and first-grade students. In this project, children draw a large heart across four sections of paper, outline it with oil pastels, and color each section using different pastel colors. They then paint over the design with watercolor, allowing students to explore color layering and texture. The finished artwork is labeled with the student's name and year, creating a vibrant and personalized piece of art.
